The Mermaid of Zennor
£10 [+10% booking fee]
Doors open 8pm – tickets available on the door
In the small Cornish village of Zennor, long ago, Matthew Trewhella returns from a life at sea with a broken heart. As he sings in his father’s church of St. Senara, his beautiful voice is heard by the mermaid Sirena, who has taken human form, bewitching all. She knows this is the man whose soul she must save by returning with him to the deep ocean at Pendour Cove. Their love symbolises the great longing in humanity for a new age of peace and compassion to dawn across the world, resonating down the ages, and into the future.
Original songs and narration are embellished by sacred sound instruments, blue whale gong, wind chimes, ocean drum and guitar. Kath and Alison are Sound Sorceresses creating a magical live performance to delight the ears and hearts of their audiences.
