Recently signed to Polydor, and with seventh album “Furnaces’ due to be released this summer, Ed Harcourt has announced two live shows this June at Manchester’s Deaf Institute Wednesday 29thand The Borderline – home to Ed’s legendary residency – Thursday 30th.
15 years after he released his Mercury nominated debut ‘Here Be Monsters’, Ed has been tucked away in a studio recording what can only be described as a career re-defining album with producer Flood (PJ Harvey, Foals). The results are truly incendiary.
Ed Harcourt has enjoyed a truly unique career as a songwriter, producer, musician and all round everyman. He’s played live with the Libertines, toured as part of Marianne Faithful ‘s band and served as Musical Director for Beck’s Songbook shows at the Barbican.
