Thursday 11th May
An Evening With Luke Haines
£15/£17 [+ 10% booking fee]
Doors open 8pm
Seated show
We are delighted to welcome the incredible talent of Luke Haines to Trades Club. Having found fame as part of The Auteurs, and later Black Box Recorder, Luke continues to tirelessly reconfirm his reputation as one of the most prolific and idiosyncratic British songwriting talents.
This live show will take the form of a combination of prose readings and live music, utilising his skills as a sardonic, verbose raconteur and lyrically-dextrous anti-hero.
Haines, while regularly releasing new musical material under a number of different projects, is also a much-celebrated writer, his memoirs, Bad Vibes – Britpop and My Part in It’s Downfall and Post Everything: Outs ider Rock and Roll have cemented his place as one of the UK’s most critically innovative and cultural commentators.
