Taking time out from recording their second album (a journey that has already taken them to Tokyo and Perth), London-based trio Yak will be bringing their ferocious live experience back to the UK and Europe this year for an extensive run of shows. Led by Britain’s most exciting young frontmen Oli Burslem, the band will play two nights at London’s Forum in May supporting The Cribs followed by a string of summer festivals and their biggest headline tour to date in October.
The release of their breathtaking 2016 debut album ‘Alas Salvation’, which was produced by Pulp’s Steve Mackey, was met with glowing reviews across the board from the likes of The Guardian, Uncut and DIY – who declared it to be “the kind of record that can inspire the next generation”.
