Summoning an intricate mix of electronic and acoustic layers, with influences all the way from Afro-funk to Modern Jazz, Plantfood are a Leeds-based 6 Piece taking inspiration from artists ranging from John Coltrane to Nubiyan Twist.
2023 saw them headlining the Croissant Neuf stage at Glastonbury, credited as Papaoul’s “best discovery of Glastonbury” and they ended the year as winners of the 2023 Drake Yolanda award. A must-see band.
Plantfood have created a one-off, laid-back set for us, with a mixture of spiritual and simmering grooves, specially curated for the Sunday Easy vibe. Don’t miss out and keep an eye out for their soon-to-be-released debut album.
As usual, residents Geo and D-Tone will be providing a mix of afrojazzfunk and eclectic chill to accompany your relaxing Sunday Easy experience with beautiful Indonesian Cuisine on offer from Dapur Nin.
