Ryley Walker is on an unstoppable rise with albums that garner increasing hosannas from the likes of NPR, Village Voice, Uncut and Mojo – in the process, earning the admiration of other musicians who have chalked up no shortage of turntable miles in Walker’s life. Robert Plant declared himself a fan – as did double-bass legend Danny Thompson with whom Ryley performed a number of gigs in 2016. He’s returning to The Trades Club with a full band in what should be a night to remember.
