Tiny Ruins play the Trades Club on Friday 21st September May as part of their UK duo tour supporting the release of their latest album, Ceremony. The album is their fourth and the follow-up to the celebrated and successful 2019 album, Olympic Girls.
Hollie Fullbrook – singer and multi-instrumentalist for Tiny Ruins – describes their music as spanning delicate folk, lustrous dream pop, and ebullient psychedelia.
There were a number of influences for the latest album and Hollie has said one place she drew inspiration from was the Manukau Harbour, which is nearby to where she lives. Ceremony is a really intimate album that intertwines personal experiences and also tends towards a joyful/hopeful take on the passing of time.
Lily Lyons is a singer-songwriter from London and Cornwall. Lily released her debut EP in 2022 followed by a string of shows in the UK and US with Grammy award-winning pianist Kevin Hays. She recently supported Roo Panes at two sold-out shows at Union Chapel in London.
