The great Pat Nevin shares revealing and entertaining stories and reflections from his 40 years in football.
Pat has done almost every job in the game. From being a star player at Chelsea and Everton to being chairman of the PFA, the players union, to playing for Scotland under Sir Alex Ferguson – and even a spell in the unique role of player-chief executive. He is now a familiar voice on BBC 5 Live radio’s coverage of the Premier League.
Right from the start of his career, Pat has been known as one of the most articulate, literate and progressive voices in football, a music fan as likely to be found DJing at club nights or actively taking on terrace racists as appearing as a pundit in the media. His two recent, acclaimed memoirs include first-hand encounters with everyone from Kenny Dalglish and Pele to Morrissey and John Peel – and even Saddam Hussein.
Pat will be in conversation with journalist Duncan Steer. There will be a chance to ask your own questions.
