Elizabeth Alker presents another recording of the BBC Radio 3 show Northern Drift, celebrating writing and music from the North. Tonight’s guests are award winning Hebden Bridge poet Amanda Dalton, and the Poet Laureate Simon Armitage. Plus live music from the Liverpool based Australian saxophonist and composer Daniel Thorne, who runs the acclaimed cross-genre new music group Immix Ensemble.
