Elizabeth Alker presents another recording of the BBC Radio 3 show Northern Drift, celebrating writing and music from the north and welcoming two of the finest musicians in traditional music, Will Pound and Jenn Butterworth. Will is widely acknowledged as one of the world’s top harmonica players and Jenn is an award-winning virtuoso folk guitarist. Joining Elizabeth and the musicians are the acclaimed Sheffield-based writer Helen Mort and Jake Morris-Campbell, poet and lecturer at Newcastle University.
