Mikoudi are a six-piece future soul collective operating between Yorkshire and London, crafting richly textured compositions that balance the liveness of jazz with the clarity of contemporary songwriting. Their music moves fluidly between jazz harmony, ambient synth textures and tight grooves all underpinned by a commitment to interactivity and spontaneity. Each member contributes their own parts, making every track a distinct collaboration shaped by the personalities within it.
With a sound that’s evolved through shifting lineups and creative growth, Mikoudi channels the likes of Hiatus Kaiyote, Jordan Rakei and BADBADNOTGOOD, while carving out something unmistakably their own. Rooted in improvisation but with an ear for melody and movement, their live sets are immersive and emotionally charged.
This time round we’ve invited Jim Bob to dig deep into his expansive vinyl collection for your matinee wind-down. As usual, residents EZG and D-Tone will warm the room, selecting plates of eclectic jazz chill for your laidback Sunday Easy experience.
