Known for her atmospheric, bucolic folk releases, Lila Tristram‘s work has garnered major press coverage, international radio plays, and playlist features. In the past year alone, she has completed three UK/EU tours, including a solo southern Germany run and a 10-day UK support tour with Black Foxxes. Her collaborations include songwriters Jackson Wooten, composer Edward Cross, and electronic artist La.nskey.

Her discography showcases her evolution: home (2023), a set of five intimate self-produced songs released on Woodland Recordings and wiaiwya with handmade CDs and 10″ vinyls; Black and White Memories Ignited by the Scent of Springtime Explode in Colour (2022), a ghostly collaborative EP with Jamie Cameron described as ‘exquisite’ by Concrete Islands; and sister EPs Our Friends pt. I & II (2020), characterized by melancholic fingerpicking and warm harmonies that received acclaim from Pete Paphides, Stephen Street, and Dan Carey, with No More Workhorse calling them ‘comparable perhaps only to Aldous Harding‘s debut … striking and bewitching.’

Intricate melodies that weave over brooding basslines, Ailsa Tully is creating an ethereal world that is rooted in folk with experimental undertones. All of Tully’s songs find their origin on the bass guitar. Upon this base she blends her distinctive but tender vocals with dreamy guitars and pop synth lines to craft an unmistakable atmosphere that is both enveloping and meditative.

Ailsa has received support from BBC Radio 1, Amazing Radio and Radio Wales, with features from Clash Magazine, Dummy magazine and a host of other publications. She has performed at Greenman, All Points East and EartH Hackney as well as many other venues and festivals both in the UK and Europe. With a debut album arriving in January 2026, Ailsa will be touring specially curated venues to celebrate the release.

‘A distinct voice’ Clash Magazine
‘A unique and mesmerising sound’ The Line of Best Fit
‘Brimming with wonder and true beauty’ Gigwise
