This December, Commoners Choir come down the Trades Club chimney with an Xmas-themed show that will take in all the good bits of the season (good will to all men, and women, and children, especially those on Climate Strike) and miss out all the crappy commercial bits.
Expect an eco-friendly Santa, some roasted chestnuts (no, really) and a sackful of songs looking backwards over a year of protest and anger and forward to a future of, erm, more protest and anger.
Commoners Choir have a new album out in the new year that tackles the big question of ‘what does it mean to be British?’ and they will be debuting several new songs from it, alongside plenty of the older singalongs.
